Groundshog was established with three main objectives:

• To provide a rewarding career for its then young owner and his friends
• To provide quality services and products at a competitive price while at the same time building relationships
• To establish a positive work environment that will encourage growth

Joseph and his company continue to adhere to these principles  and have grown from maintaining just a few properties to now having a customer base of over 200 . While many of these  properties are in the Catonsville and Ellicott city regions Groundshog  services customers across the entire Baltimore region, as well as, all of Howard and parts of Carroll counties.

Currently, Groundshog is aggressively pursuing expanding its customer bases in both Catonsville and Ellicott City.  Groundshog is promoting its full range of services as well as its customer driven commitments.

Our Commitment to the Environment:
Groundshog is also trying to do its part in maintaining and enhancing the environment. We recycle  100% of all  yard waste as well paper, aluminum, metal, and stone.  We enable all of our customers   to receive emailed invoicing as well as newsletters.  We practice  an integrated pest management program and we try to use the least damaging products to any surfaces. Ultimately,  we   strive to achieve balance in the landscape by installing low maintenance native plantings  and non native  plantings wherever possible or demanded.
